The short version
- You own your code. We only process diffs to review them.
- AI findings are suggestions. You decide what ships.
- Joining the waitlist is free and creates no obligation.
- Credits: one per finding, minimum one per review, reset monthly.
- Paid plans renew until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next charge.
- Install Scrutio only on repositories you are allowed to.
01Agreement to these terms
These terms govern your use of the Scrutio website, waitlist, and service (together, "Scrutio"). By joining the waitlist or using Scrutio, you agree to them. If you use Scrutio on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.
02Waitlist and early access
- Joining the waitlist is free. It does not guarantee access, or access by any particular date.
- We invite people in waves and may prioritize based on the information you share with us.
- Early-access features may change, be limited, or be removed as we improve the product.
- You can leave the waitlist at any time by emailing legal@scrutio.dev.
03What Scrutio does
Scrutio connects to GitHub as a GitHub App, analyzes the diffs of pull requests in the repositories you grant it, and reports findings such as security issues, logic errors, and performance problems. It can post a summary on the pull request and create GitHub issues when you ask it to.
04Your account and GitHub access
- You need a GitHub account to use Scrutio. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Only install Scrutio on repositories you own or are authorized to grant access to.
- You can change which repositories Scrutio sees, or uninstall it, from your GitHub settings at any time.
05Your code and data
You keep full ownership of your code. You give us permission to access and process pull request diffs, and related metadata, only to provide the service to you. Diffs are not stored after a review completes, and we do not use your code to train AI models.
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
06AI-generated findings
Findings are produced by AI and can be incomplete or wrong. They are suggestions, not professional advice or a security audit. You remain responsible for reviewing them and for every change you merge and deploy.
07Plans, credits and billing
- Each completed review uses one credit per finding, with a minimum of one credit.
- Plans include a monthly credit allowance, which resets each billing cycle and does not roll over.
- When you run out of credits, new reviews pause until credits are available again.
- Paid plans are billed in advance through Razorpay and renew automatically until you cancel.
- Cancelling, by switching back to the Free plan, stops future charges and takes effect immediately.
- Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires a refund. Prices may change with advance notice.
08Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using Scrutio.
- Probe, overload, or disrupt the service, or access it other than through our interfaces.
- Get around credit limits, rate limits, or billing.
- Resell the service, or use it to build a competing product, without our written permission.
- Sign up with someone else's email address or submit false information to the waitlist.
09Third-party services
Scrutio relies on GitHub, Anthropic, Razorpay, and other providers. Your use of GitHub and Razorpay is also covered by their own terms, and we are not responsible for outages or changes on their side.
10Our intellectual property
The Scrutio software, design, and brand belong to us. You may use the findings Scrutio generates for your own projects without restriction.
11Disclaimers
Scrutio is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise that it will catch every issue or run without interruption.
12Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
13Suspension and termination
You can stop using Scrutio at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App and cancelling any subscription. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or to protect the service and its users. After termination, we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
14Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the courts of India, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
15Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Scrutio evolves. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the product before they take effect. Continuing to use Scrutio after that means you accept the updated terms.
